Mr. Darren Goodwin
Darren Goodwin is my name, and I am from the Mountain State, West Virginia, where I was born and raised! I am a full-time West Virginia State University student and will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. My content area specialization is Elementary Education K-6, and I will graduate in May 2025. As a custodian with Kanawha County Schools, I have spent thirteen years sweeping and mopping floors in the classroom. I will continue to work full-time while I further my education. My students inspired me to change my life, so once I graduate, I can dedicate my life to encouraging those who helped me realize that I can become everything I dreamed of and more! I want to inspire my students to become the most successful versions of themselves, hold on to their wishes and dreams, and never give up!
